Mirror in the Morning

This morning I saw sexy
eyes from sleep
They are originally

She splashes her face with water.

She’s then awake ...

  2. This is wonderful, Asanda! Here, you take such a simple morning ritual, and transform it into captivating poetry. Imagine if you were writing down every experience you had throughout the day! You'd never get any actual living done, but wow - those poems would pop.

Thanks for your beautiful contributions to our little blog world, Asanda.

  3. I loved this poem, Asanda. I particularly like the image of your yawn about to swallow everyone in the whole world. Effective. Thanks for the creative ideas.
