Why do African people do this way?
Is it poverty
that brought hatred amongst African people:
same colour, same continent, same blood?
Why, my great fellow Africans?
Fighting against our brothers and sisters ...
These where people who protected us
at the time of exile.
Yes, what we call exile
is their countries.
They did not call them makwerekwere,
though we can't speak their languages.
When our fathers, mothers, sisters, and brothers
worked in their areas.
Why should you black fellow South Africans do this?
What makes you think we are better than they?
Why do we not stand up against violence?
Get up and and let education empower you.
Seek humanity.
Before 1994, you blamed whites.
Now, you are blaming refugees.
Who are you going to blame after killing them?
Africa, I just want to make it clean and clear:
"Wake up" and take over,
or else violence will take over.
Don't do bad things
which will lead you
to the dark side of life.

You assume a powerful stance here, Vika. You stand effortlessly tall, as you face your fellow Africans, that they might face themselves. Your imperative that Africans seek humanity is sage. If the call is for Africa to be wise, perhaps it must only follow you.
